The CPC Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to giving full play to the role of export credit insurance. General Secretary Xi Jinping has issued important instructions on three separate occasions, calling for fully leveraging export credit insurance. Upholding its mission of “fulfilling the policy functions and supporting high-level opening-up”, SINOSURE works to actively expand the coverage of export credit insurance and provides comprehensive risk protection for the exports of Chinese goods, technologies, and services, as well as overseas contracting projects and investment projects. As of the end of 2025, SINOSURE had supported over USD10 trillion of domestic and international trade and overseas investment, extended services to more than 400,000 customers and paid out nearly USD28 billion of claims. Since 2015, SINOSURE has consistently ranked first globally among export credit agencies (ECAs) in terms of total business volume.
