The project, a priority in the China-Nepal Production Capacity Cooperation White Paper, represents a total investment of USD320 million. It marked SINOSURE’s first underwriting of a RMB-denominated project in Nepal by overseas investment debt insurance. Upon completion, the project will provide a steady stream of green and clean energy, supporting Nepal’s industrial development, livelihood improvement, and environmental protection.
